Graduate Student Literary Reading

Friday, January 22, 2010 @ 5:00 PM

Held at the Kinport Coffee Company
(Located inside the Kinport Junction on 1st street)

EGSA would like to announce to you the first official activity of the Spring semester, a Graduate Student Literary Reading. Here's the basic information on the literary reading, which will include three of our graduate students reading from their creative writing--one poet, one fiction writer, and one non-fiction writer:

In case you've never been there, Kinport Junction is a remodeled building down on 1st right next to the train tracks, just a little bit south of the Portneuf Valley Brewery. When you walk in the front door you can see a meat market on your left, a restaurant in front of you, and the Pocatello Co-op on your right. The coffee shop kind of shares an entrance with the co-op. You'll see it. The owner of the coffee shop is excited to have us there. It isn't huge, which should make it tightly knit and easy for everyone to hear our writers read. And it will be a great chance for all of us to sit close, socialize, and get to know each other even better. It should be a fun venue and we're confident it will be a great event.

Look for posters in the LA building starting on Monday next week as a reminder. We hope to see lots of you there.
