Pocatello Readings Announcements
National Poetry Month may be over now, but National Short Story month has just begun! Be sure to check out the events listed below to help celebrate the short story and other forms of literature.
We also have an announcement to pass along. Susan Goslee and Bethany Schultz Hurst, co-directors of the Rocky Mountain Writers' Festival for the past several years, have announced that they are stepping down from their leadership roles with the Festival. They extend their thanks and appreciation to the community, whose lively spirit and literary readings have made working on the Festival a pleasure.
Organization will revert to Will Peterson, one of the original founders of the Festival and owner of the Walrus and Carpenter Bookstore. You can contact him at the bookstore if you are interested in volunteering with the Festival.
The Festival website at www.rockymountainwriters.com will expire in August. However, Festival and other reading information will continue to be posted at pocatelloreadings.blogspot.com. If you would like to help with the blogspot, please contact pocatello.readings@gmail.com for more information.
The pocatello.readings e-newsletter will continue its distribution as usual. If you hear of any literary events, please pass along word to us so we can help publicize!
